La Spa Ma May

La Spa is the in-house spa brand of Elegance Hospitality Group, the Hanoi company behind the La Siesta boutique hotels, which launched in 2006 with a ten-room property in the Old Quarter. La Spa Ma May occupies the third floor of La Siesta Classic Ma May at 94 Mã Mây, and the brand also runs branches inside La Siesta hotels at 27 Hàng Bè, 21 Hàng Thung and 2 Bà Triệu (Lakeside), as well as in Hoi An and Saigon. All are open to non-guests.

The Hanoi menu is shared across branches and priced in VND. Sixty-minute body treatments include the Relaxation Treatment at 885,000 VND, Tension Relief Therapy at 950,000 VND, Hot Stone Massage at 1,050,000 VND and Himalayan Salt Stone Massage at 1,085,000 VND, with 90-minute versions and multi-treatment half-day packages also offered. Facials, foot care, scrubs and wraps round out the list. The spa accepts Visa and Mastercard and runs a happy hour with 20 percent off treatments of 60 minutes or more booked between 9:00 and 12:00.

Opening hours are 9:00 to 21:00 daily with the last appointment before 20:00. Treatment rooms at Ma May are classically styled and each is fitted with its own private sauna, a feature available only at the Ma May and Hàng Bè branches. The spa's TripAdvisor listing holds a 5.0 rating from close to two thousand reviews, and the parent hotel has repeatedly featured in TripAdvisor's global Travellers' Choice rankings.
