Reviewers on TripAdvisor repeatedly describe the acupressure work as deep, thorough and among the best they have had.

  • Value for money

Watch-outs reviewers mention
  • Communal on cheaper tiers

The 75-105 minute packages use shared gender-separated steam and massage halls; private rooms start at the 120-minute tier.

  • Firm pressure by default

The style is strong acupressure, so those wanting a gentle oil massage may find it intense.

  • Local rather than luxurious

Reviews describe a clean but functional, traditional setting rather than a boutique spa.

Our take

Hanoi’s old-school steam-and-acupressure institution since 1992: strong, thorough and cheap for two hours, in a functional rather than boutique setting.

Huong Sen Healthcare Center opened on 16 April 1992 and is one of Hanoi's longest-running massage and sauna businesses. Its 68 An Duong branch, near the Long Bien bridge end of Tay Ho, is one of five Hanoi locations alongside Le Van Thiem (Thanh Xuan), HD Mon My Dinh, Xuan Dinh and Ha Dong, plus two centres in Ho Chi Minh City. It is open 09:00 to 22:00 every day except Lunar New Year.

The format is a sequence rather than a single treatment: a Red Dao herbal bath or Jacuzzi soak and steam (herbal, Himalayan salt-stone or cold-snow rooms), followed by a traditional acupressure massage by a technician, or by a doctor for the 90-minute treatment package that can add acupuncture, electro-stimulation or spinal manipulation. Packages finish with porridge, herb-steamed balut and seasonal fruit; longer packages include a hot dish.

The An Duong price list in force from 1 April 2026 runs from 400,000 VND for 75 minutes in the large gender-separated rooms to 1,100,000 VND for a 150-minute private or couples room package. Add-ons include herbal steam baths, extra treatment time and a body scrub. Prenatal and couples massages are offered, and the English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese sites make the menu easy to follow.
