How every listing is compiled — and what a star rating leaves out

Each listing is built from the spa’s own website or menu, its Google Maps listing, TripAdvisor and well-known Hanoi guides. Spas cannot pay to be listed, to rank higher or to remove a watch-out.

The headline price is the cheapest published 60-minute body massage, in VND. When a spa does not publish prices online, the page says “on request” rather than estimating.

The star rating is the public Google rating on the date shown. Highlights and watch-outs summarise what many reviews repeat, so one unusually good or bad visit does not define a spa.
